The Photometric Period of V1391 Cassiopeiae (Nova Cas 2020)

Abstract

A photometric study of Nova Cassiopeiae 2020 has been undertaken at the urban Burleith Observatory in Washington, DC, where 7,504 CCD observations were obtained over a time span of 100.16 days. A photometric period was obtained: 3.8036 ± 0.0005 h, epoch (HJD) of maximum light 2459082.59223, with amplitude 0.011 magnitude (Cousins I).
