Abstract

(Abstract only) Since retiring from daily classroom teaching I have developed a program for bringing astronomy instruction and observing parties to elementary schools in southeastern Massachusetts through the existing parent-teacher organizations. In this paper I will show excerpts from my atmospheric, lunar, planetary, solar and stellar presentations as well as a few pictures of student star parties and public sidewalk astronomy.
