Proposal

I would like to request observations of the star AT Pyx, an Orion-type star, in filters B, V, R and I, which does not have observations with AAVSO and with the last observation with ASAS-SN made in 2018, information that I found in website, but I may have missed something.
The idea is to observe it to create data in the AAVSO database, better observe the period of the missing star in the VSX data and check the star's light curve.

Capture data:
Red star with B-V 1.21, so I suggest an exposure time of 24x30s filter B, 12x30s in V, 12x5s in R and 24x5s in I, but I gladly accept suggestions from the team in this regard.

Proposed stars:

AT Pyx rang mag. 12.7 - <14.0 – Period not defined.
J2000 08 28 40.71 -33 46 22.6

Thanks in advance.

Eric, if you want to retrieve ASAS-SN data, you need to recompute the data in the ASAS-SN Sky Patrol page (link from VSX) and change the "Enter number of days to go back" field from 20 to 5000 or so.
The pre-computed light curve only includes V data and that's what spans only up to 2018. Since 2018 ASAS-SN only observes in the g band.

Hello Sebastian! If I'm not mistaken, I put 3000 days, but I can re-evaluate it on the ASAS-SN website, and from 2018 to now, from what I've seen there are no observations. It no longer has observations in the AAVSO database, which is why I thought about requesting this project, and creating a sequence of observations feeding the AAVSO database.

Eric, the link above shows all the observations up to now...
That doesn't mean that we are going to reject the proposal, multicolor photometry is welcomed! :)

Hi Sebastian!

I'm sorry, I understood your first message, even though I couldn't open the link, since I had to open the previous message on my cell phone because I was far from my notebook. When I opened the link on my notebook I noticed what you said, when I consulted, even though I put a longer period of time, I don't know why or what I did wrong, the observations only appeared until 2018. However, I saw that the data collected by them, like you, mentioned are only in filter V and currently in G. That's why I believe this work with other filters is very important.
