The BAA VSS has started a campaign to observe CG Dra see https://britastro.org/node/25925. CG Dra is a rapidly outbursting ( ~11 days) DN but is rather faint and of modest range.
The present campaign follows a similar exercise in 2008 and aims to clarify the behaviour of this eclipsing DN. The proposed observations would be unfiltered photometry on a nightly basis. The programme will run until the end of December 2021 and the data published by J Shears et al probably in the BAA journal.

How do I obtain a magnitude value in VPHOT for images taken with no filter?
If the C filter and magnitude values are mutually exclusive, can I change to the V filter.
Notice that the proposal states "unfiltered photometry", that means a clear filter. This is probably noted because the target is faint? Ask Jeremy what he meant?
You should use the comp V reference magnitudes for your analysis in VPhot. IF you cannot figure this out in vphot, send me an email to firstname.lastname@example.org or we can skype..

Ken, As SRO ran into difficulties and did not produce many results , could this be rescheduled onto say MPO61. CG Dra continues to be monitored by a few people in the BAA but another set of results from the another time zone would be good. The lates BAA journal has an magazine has an article on CG Dra in it.
